Are you suppose to do a rinse cycle after you do a wash cycle? My brand new machine seems to spray soapy water whether or not the knob is turned to wash or rinse. Any ideas?

Lmao the arrow on the lid is showing you which direction the airflow goes so you can match it to the arrow on the filter. The fact that there’s a locking lever you have to push out of the way to pop the lid off tells you which way the lid goes lol I don’t think you need a locking clip on one side PLUS an arrow to show you how to put the lid back on. The lid is literally showing you the direction of the airflows so somebody like you does not fuck up putting the filter in like you did. 😂😂😂😂😂 the arrow is literally for people like you, but you still couldn’t figure it out. I’m truly blown away. The video started out so good.

Thank you! I just unboxed and assembled one of these exact machines, and the solution tank handle is not secured to the solution tank at all. There's a place on the back on tank (other side from the Hoover logo) where there is an obvious hole for a screw, but there's no screw in it. There is nothing in the instructions about assembling this, and I carefully looked twice and found only the two screws for the main machine handle. I guess someone on that assembly line in China took a potty break and a bunch of machines went out without that screw in.

@DIYJIM Hey Jim great video! I think most of the other comments have summed it up perfectly! I do have a question though: When using the bagger unit, do you first have to change the cutting blades under the deck or can you use the stock blades that came with it? Thanks in advance!

Jim, When I do this task, the part of removing the spring mechanism that engages the blade, I find easy is to unscrew the mounting bracket on the top of the mower deck, then the spring comes off easy too. Thank you for your videos, I am saving all the links in a folder for future reference.

Hi - your pool videos are great. We are setting our steps up tonight. The directions for the steps say to fill it with sand. I'm hearing/reading all sorts of things about how not to use sand because of algae... what are your thoughts on this? Also, what is the name of the tubing you filled with cement? I would like to hunt some down. Also, how did you attach the mat to the bottom of the steps? Staples? Twist ties? Thanks :) Watching from Western Colorado.

For as well as Toyota is at engineering, I wish they would just invest a few more minutes and put the dipstick at the front of the engine. My winter beater Corolla, the dipstick is right up front! Its so NICE!!

Hey Jim random question but do you typically leave your mini splits running 24/7? Or on and off as needed? I’ve heard it is supposedly more energy efficient to just leave them on all the time-“set it and forget it”- but not sure if that’s truly the case.

Great design, it would make a great day project to create a set of 4 Plus to use up some of my spare old lumber.

Returning from learning so much from a previous video, i came across a “rinseless , non toxic, no sprayer” aerosol coil cleaner. i can’t find anyone saying they’ve used it for mini splits especially. and i was wondering if that was truly safe to use on the indoor coils without rinsing. it claims the condensation would wash away whatever needs to be washed & the run off will clean the sludge we can’t reach without taking it off the wall.

I would like to have anyone else who was falsely charged with damages. I plan on starting a class action lawsuit against Hertz after my trial in small claims court. If anyone had this happen to them, please let us know on this thread. I'll keep everyone posted on my results in the courts next month.
